About Green Zanzibar :
Green Zanzibar is a cooperative created as an initiative of
the women's group "Tufahamiane" which is based in Kizimkazi in Zanzibar and founded in 2004. Now, we are more than 45 people.
You can make a difference. We also offer an amazing volunteering experience with Green Zanzibar. In Kiziwater, within the local community, we work to purify the water by removing bacteria and chemical pollutants. We collect and carefully clean large empty bottles, then refill them with safe water. The goal is to sell this water so local mamas can earn their own income and improve their daily lives.
We also plant flowers, medicinal plants, coconut trees, and other fruit trees to help the environment and support the community. The place is truly beautiful and inspiring.
You'll live at Kiziparadise in a comfortable room (with your own bathroom and toilets).
